When Night Falls...

There's a whole lot of fun in and around the Poconos when the sun sets, and this section will help you find some of the many places to enjoy live music and evening entertainment.

Many of the resorts and hotels offer their guests a wide range of evening fun - from magic to live bands and vocalist - some are open to the public, others are available only to registered guests. We'll point out which are which.

Also located in the Poconos are hard to find hot spots that have rotating talent and shows that vary from night to night and others that have a theme that is consistent - jazz clubs, etc.

Poconos Nightlife

Nightlife in the Poconos

There's just about something for everyone when it comes to after dark entertainment in the Poconos.

For the younger club scene, the East Stroudsburg area - Home to East Stroudsburg University - is the best bet for dance and trance clubs.

Since the Poconos is a tourist destination, most places (resorts, hotels and restaurants) have active weekend venues. Some resorts offer live entertainment every night, but entrance may require you to be a registered guest with the hotel.

If your taste is country, bluegrass and square dancing - you'll find it. If you prefer the upscale jazz scene, that's here, too.

It may take a bit of looking, but you're bound to find the nightlife in the Poconos varied to almost any style or preference.
